The Basics of Safe Group Riding
Pay close attention to those riding around you.
Keep both hands on the handlebar, close to your brakes.
Ride predictably and in a straight line. No swerving.
Don't slow, stop, or change directions quickly.
Don’t overlap wheels with cyclists in front of you.
Provide extra following distance in case someone has to stop or turn quickly.
Call out to the group if you see a hazard in the road, or if you are slowing or stopping.
When approaching intersections, make sure it is safe to enter before doing so.
Have Fun!
