Start at the Mt. Adams Ranger Station in Trout Lake 2455 Hwy 141 Trout Lk. WA. 98650. Location is 25 miles north of
White Salmon WA. Pack a lunch & plenty to drink; once you leave Trout Lake there are no
services, camping available in the area. Temperature can change from very hot to very cold so pack warm clothes.
Snow may cover roads in spring and fall, check with the Forest Service on current conditions. (509) 395-3400 or
(509) 395-3420 (24 hr recording). Very short sections of the road are unpaved gravel, slow down at bridges as they have
gaps that can damage a bicycle wheel. Watch out for deer and livestock as this is open range country.
